Vigil of Understanding

In the night air, these are flecks

of light in the glow of the moon

surrounded by a vigil of stars.

I wonder if I will understand

everything I need.

I find a part of my face

 in reflection, and

I find my silhouetted figure

 upon the ground in a shadow

and these are a few answers

 in reflections and shadows.
