At the core of my heart
there is no gravity,
everything is free to fly.

At the core of my heart
there is no time,
all is a version of now.

At the core of my heart
there are no more flames to burn another,
now there is phosphoresce aurora borealis.

At the core of my heart
there are moments of silence,
harmonized by music, a capella and conversation.

At the core of my heart
there is the flavor of the stars
in all that I savor.

At the core of my heart
there is the aroma of clouds

in all that passes.

Second Digital Painting of Human Form
I have made a sketch of what I basically wanted to accomplish. This is something I have not done with any of my previous digital work. The idea is that it will help to achieve a more successful execution of forms and ideas, while I paint from my heart and soul.

Notes From Pieces During The Week
1. The poem about darkness, was a speed digital art piece. Tools used: vectors, rendering software, overlays, and paintbrushes.

2. Marcus Aurelius quote, was a speed digital art piece. Tools used: vectors, overlays, effects, and rendering software.

3. The poem about moonbeams, the art was a digital painting. Tools used: vectors, overlays, rendering software, effects, paintbrushes, and extensive blending.

OFF THE WALL THIS WEEK

A sumi ink piece done by bamboo brush and calligraphy pen. This piece was signed and dated 2005. The calligraphy characters are Chinese; one represents "Heaven" or cielo and the other represents "Fire" or fuego. The piece is 16.5 in. by 14 in. or 41 cm by 35 cm.

Journal Entry Number 1

I have been looking for a model for my second digital art painting for two days now. The first digital art painting of the human form was something of an accident. It started with two vector spirals to which I was adding overlays of color and blending. As I was blending, I saw the human form, but it needed to be turned and flipped. 7 layers and hours of blending at the pixel level later I had developed the human form; but she still needed hair! Lol. :)

I learned a number of things from the first painting. This second painting of the human form will use more vectors to establish form, instead of just 2 spiral vectors (I have not decided how many yet). I will paint more and there will be a full scene of concept art as I have been developing my background skills. Right now, I am only going to have one model in the scene.

Just for fun here's a pencil drawing challenge I did and if you want you can do it also :)
