PURPLE EPHEMERAL VISIONS O LAS VISIONES DE PÚRPURA EFÍMERAS

Artista/Artist  Cyril Rolando/AquaSixio

PURPLE EPHEMERAL VISIONS

I see your glow
even through the light of the sun,
I desire your shadow
in the night,
I feel your breath
Even though there is wind
through the resting aisles of trees
and the fallen leaves gilded, crimson, purple
and maroon ephemeral visions
of fire burning in the heart
melting the tallow of life and the fragrance
of my heart rises while
the tallow melts over my bones,
my muscles, and my skin.

LAS VISIONES DE PÚRPURA EFÍMERAS

Veo tu resplandor

LA FUENTE DE UN SUEÑO o FOUNTAIN OF A DREAM

Fotografía Jacob Santiago García

LA FUENTE DE UN SUEÑO

El viento sin remordimiento
llevada la susurrada
preguntas de mis labios
con las hojas que
arremolinaban en el desvancimiento
tonalidades del crepúsculo.
Como yo dormía,
yo puedo escuchar
las preguntas
eco en las nubes
hasta que las preguntas
construido una ciudad en la que
las calles están sin nombre
y los libros se leen innumerables
tiempos y olvidado.
Me sentí perdido en mi sueño,
relámpagos viaja a través del cielo
mientras yo me preguntaba
aun ahora huelo
las flores eternas

cerca de las aguas.

FOUNTAIN OF A DREAM

The wind without remorse
carried the whispered
questions of my lips
with the leaves that
swirled in the fading
hues of twilight.
As I slept,
I could hear
the questions
echo off the clouds
until the questions
built a city where
the streets are nameless,
and books are read countless
times and forgotten.
I felt lost in my dream,
lightning travelled across the sky,
while I wondered
if I could be free
of the person
I once was,
until I left the city,
I flew
across time and space
within this dream towards
the oldest planet,
near the oldest star that was
near a garden of eternally ripe fruit
and near the garden
there is the fountain of experience,
even now I smell
the eternal blossoms
near the waters.

395 Moons o 395 Lunas

395 Moons

Solar citrus ripens,
Ending day,
Juice saturates atmosphere.

Stormy then pacific
People with sliced kiwis strewn across
Bamboo hardwood floors.

Ephemeral paradigms
Of time in colors,
Dancing to a tarantella beat.

Three hundred, ninety-five
Full moons, an age, spent on beaches,
Deserts, mountains and plains.

A sun rests on our brows
Illuminating even
Dark phantom emotions.

395 Lunas

Cítricos solar madura,
Finalización un día
Jugo satura la atmósfera.

Tempestuoso entonces pacifico

Iluminador aun
Emociones fantasma oscuro.

500 Years o 500 Años

500 Years

Heavy clouds waiting
to shed burdens,
he is waiting to
shed skin.
He can hear the sounds of
castanets and drums.
Now the fire dancers
appear before his eyes,
blue at the core,
shadows cast on the
frozen insects.
Has five hundred years
been a day?
Has this day been
five hundred years?
He can hear his voice echoing,
it is the voice of an adult,
within it are the ripples of a
child’s voice,
all in a crescendo
while fire flares...
now
rebirth…
he is phoenix,
he is Quetzalcoatl.

Ahora
Renacimiento…
Él es el ave Fénix,
Su nombre es Queztalcóatl.

Celebrate o Celebrar

Celebrate

Scent of a good memory,
something to hold,
vivid hues of dusk,
the soul and math of
music,
he who takes pleasure in
hieroglyphs,
she that finds release in the
garden,
he who bleeds oil, teeth of chrome,
mechanic,
she that forms the imagined with glass, clay and
marble,
he that is grateful Sappho
existed,
she that dreams of
Tenochtitlan,
they who dance in the park for
 decades,
he who practices world peace on symphonic
 strings,
she who is herself complete and a
 sister,
celebrate what
 forever took to find.

© Jacob S. García

Celebrar

Aroma de buena memoria,
algo para sostener,
tonos vivos de anochecer,
el alma y la matemática de la
música,
él que se complace en
jeroglificos,
 hermana,
celebrar lo que
  siempre llevó de encontrar.

Chasing Down Primal Voodoo o Persiguiendo Vudú Primigenio

Chasing Down Primal Voodoo

The amber light post,
echoes on the boardwalk,
the book,
the cinema,
an album of music,
cleats for sports,
caravans,
iron horses,
golem,
games played beautifully by children—
before all this there is ocean,
one and many,
undulating, rhythmic
fluid frothing in
Fermat spirals.

The plow,
a hammer,
a needle,
a muffin pan,
a wrench,
the bridle,
forceps,
clay tablets of Tell El-Armana,
mausoleum at Halicarnassus—
before all this there is the sky,
translucent, spherical
supported by columns of
invisible gases, swirling
prismatic drops of
liquid falling.

Persiguiendo Vudú Primigenio

El poste de luz color ámbar,
Se hace eco en el paseo marítimo,
El libro,
El cine,
Un álbum de música,
Tacos para deportes,
Caravanas,
Caballos de hierro,
Gόlem,

Gaseoso invisibles, remolino
Gotas prismáticos de
Cayendo líquido.

Invent o Inventar

Invent

Raised from the seamless
and frothing ocean,
raced across Picasso blue
sky with the others,
drifting over desert plateaus
with stone carvings and
cliff dwellings.
Moving towards the mountainous
ridges that relax in the scent of
pine and elevations of earth.
All this then a fall,
but landing on an open ear
the snow relates the
history it knows.
Snow is present, we are present,
snow is history, we are history,
we are a memory that invents
itself every day.

© Jacob S. García

Inventar

Grasses and Razor Wire o Gramíneas y Alambre Navaja

Grasses and Razor Wire

Grasses without fences
is what I wish I saw
looking at these fields.
Razor wire to cut flesh,
entangle,
they want blood
as the warning,
as the price of passage.
I carry no weapon,
nor a tool but this pen.
Will there be land mines next?
Will there be a sniper to every lot?
You have already raised
metal monstrosities tipped with razors.
Are we heading towards
a time
where the only
grasses without fences
are in pictures, archived
in a forgotten database?

© Jacob S. García

Gramíneas y Alambre Navaja

Las gramíneas sin vallas
es lo que yo deseo que vi
mirando a estos campos.
Alambre navaja para cortar carne,
enredar,
que quieren sangre
como la advertencia,
como el precio del pasaje.
Yo llevo no hay arma,
ni una herramienta, pero este bolígrafo.
¿Habrá minas terrestres después?
¿Habrá un francotirador para cada terreno?
Usted ya ha planteado
monstruosidades metálicos con punta con navajas.
¿Nos dirigimos hacia
un tiempo de
donde el único
las gramíneas sin vallas
están en imágenes, archivado
en una base de datos olvidado?
