Rhapsody of Strands

Silent friends, the stars,
returning wanderers, planets...
They have been my companions
since my eyes now are birds
flying over the grasses
resting on the interwoven
strands that are her hair,
since my ears are now caves
that echo and absorb the
fullness of her spring voice,
since my lips now form the
whispers of wind in
willows that whisk her ears.
Rest long my eyes,
echo longer my ears,
whisper longest my lips.

Chasing Down Primal Voodoo o Persiguiendo Vudú Primigenio

Chasing Down Primal Voodoo

The amber light post,
echoes on the boardwalk,
the book,
the cinema,
an album of music,
cleats for sports,
caravans,
iron horses,
golem,
games played beautifully by children—
before all this there is ocean,
one and many,
undulating, rhythmic
fluid frothing in
Fermat spirals.

The plow,
a hammer,
a needle,
a muffin pan,
a wrench,
the bridle,
forceps,
clay tablets of Tell El-Armana,
mausoleum at Halicarnassus—
before all this there is the sky,
translucent, spherical
supported by columns of
invisible gases, swirling
prismatic drops of
liquid falling.

Persiguiendo Vudú Primigenio

El poste de luz color ámbar,
Se hace eco en el paseo marítimo,
El libro,
El cine,
Un álbum de música,
Tacos para deportes,
Caravanas,
Caballos de hierro,
Gόlem,

Gaseoso invisibles, remolino
Gotas prismáticos de
Cayendo líquido.

Invent o Inventar

Invent

Raised from the seamless
and frothing ocean,
raced across Picasso blue
sky with the others,
drifting over desert plateaus
with stone carvings and
cliff dwellings.
Moving towards the mountainous
ridges that relax in the scent of
pine and elevations of earth.
All this then a fall,
but landing on an open ear
the snow relates the
history it knows.
Snow is present, we are present,
snow is history, we are history,
we are a memory that invents
itself every day.

Inventar

Robado de la Luna or Stolen from the Moon

Robado de la Luna

Robó un beso de la luna
sentido el calor de ella
conversaciόn con el sol.
Que era esta conversaciόn
reflexionό sobre mí
a través de ella propia manera,
que era su eco de
sus palabras de luz y
vida que vierte abajo
la piel de mi cara.
Traté de recolectar
en las palmas de
mis manos y llevar
a la vez a mis labios,
porque yo sobrevivo de este
nectar de los cuerpos astronόmicos,
fruta astronόmico cuya
jugos permiten la vista y el color.

Stolen from the Moon

Stole a kiss from the moon
felt the warmth from her
conversation with the sun.
It was this conversation
she reflected on me
through her own way,
it was her echo of
his words of light and
life that poured down
the skin of my face.
I tried to collect
in the palms of
my hands and bring
at once to my lips,
because I survive off this
nectar of astronomic bodies,
astronomic fruit whose
juices allow sight and color.

Celestial Birds o Pájaros Celestes

Celestial Birds

A saxophone giving
birth to jazz.
A peal of thunder giving
birth to sheets of rain.
 Zephyrus giving
birth to the wind.
What has been done?
I am born when titans and gods
seem to be dying and
when the beaks of
celestial birds uphold the clouds.
I am born as
a flower of cacti
in the wild desert.
I am born when
the pages are flipped,
when the scent of book
is born when the
lines swell
with the warm humidity
of the words.
I am born as we are born.

Pájaros Celestes

Un saxofόn dando
nacimiento al jazz.
Un repique de entrega trueno
nacimiento a la lluvia.
Zephyrus entrega
nacimiento al viento.
¿Qué se ha hecho?
Soy nacido cuando titanes y dioses
paracen estar muriendo
y cuando los picos de
pájaros celestes apoyan las nubes.
Soy nacido como
una flor de cactus
en el desierto salvaje.
Soy nacido cuando
las páginas se da la vuelta,
cuando el olor del libro
nace cuando el
líneas hinchan
con la humedad caliente
de las palabras.
Soy nacido como nacemos.
