A Tree of Pages
This tree grows
in a field of flowers,
this tree grows
in a field of grasses,
this tree of
life sprouted
from a seed deep
within the earth and grows.
The leaves of
this tree are
the written
pages of a life
on this earth.
The pages
of children, of
parents,
of grandparents,
of nieces,
of nephews, of
uncles,
of aunts, of
cousins,
of a family all
grow.
The leaves dance
in the wind,
the pages of
love,
the pages of
heartache,
the pages of
growth,
the pages of
days in the sun,
the pages of
days near the sea,
the pages of
work and play.
What page will
we write today?

UN ÁRBOL DE PÁGINAS
Este árbol crece
en un campo de flores,
este árbol crece
en un campo de hierba,
este árbol de la
vida brotado
a partir de una
semilla de lo profundo de la tierra y crece.
Las hojas de
este árbol son
las páginas
escritas de una vida
en esta tierra.
Las páginas
de los niños, de
los padres,
de los abuelos,
de las sobrinas,
de los sobrinos,
de los tíos,
de las tías, los
primos,
de una familia
todos ellos crecen.
Las hojas bailan
en el viento,
las páginas de
amor,
las páginas de
dolor,
las páginas de
crecimiento,
las páginas de
los días en el sol,
las páginas de
los días cerce del mar,
las páginas de
trabajo y juego.
